Transparency

We follow the Alberta Dental Fee Guide, publish our pricing online, and submit a predetermination to your insurer before treatment begins. You know the cost before we start, not after.

Accessibility

We open at 7:00 am four days a week and stay open until 8:30 pm twice a week, because dental care shouldn’t cost you a workday.

Comfort

Nitrous oxide and oral sedation are available for any appointment, including a first cleaning, for patients whose anxiety has kept them out of a dental chair for years.

Serving Springbank Hill Since 2017

Springbank Hill Dental opened on Springbank Boulevard in 2017. Dr. Wes Prepchuk and Dr. Meggan Schiffner took ownership in 2019 and have run the clinic since.

Dr. Prepchuk holds a B.Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Lethbridge and a Bachelor of Dentistry from the University of Sydney. He practiced in Australia for 14 years before returning home to Calgary. Over the past decade he has placed hundreds of dental implants, completed hundreds of root canals, and treated more than 200 clear aligner cases, alongside thousands of fillings, crowns, and extractions. He works with the Straumann implant system, is certified in CBCT imaging and laser dentistry, and is a certified provider for both Invisalign and ClearCorrect.

He practices alongside Dr. Nicholas Wong, who treats patients in English and French, and Dr. Lindsay Davidson, who grew up in Calgary and works especially well with children. Between them the clinic covers preventive, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry for every age in your family.

Springbank Hill Dental is part of the Sierra Dental group. When a case calls for a registered specialist in periodontics, orthodontics, or oral surgery, we refer within the group so your records and imaging travel with you instead of you starting over somewhere new.

The clinic is amalgam-free and equipped with digital X-rays and on-site CBCT 3D imaging, which means implant and extraction cases are planned here rather than sent out for scans.

We Follow The ADA Fee Guide

Alberta has the highest dental fees in Canada. We think you should know what a treatment costs before you’re in the chair, not when you’re standing at the desk paying for it.

Springbank Hill Dental follows the Alberta Dental Association Fee Guide, a publicly available schedule that lists a standard price for every dental procedure in the province. You can look up what we charge for a cleaning, an X-ray, a crown, or an implant, and compare it against any other clinic in Calgary.

For anything beyond routine care we submit a predetermination to your insurer before the appointment is booked, so you know exactly what your plan covers and what you’ll owe. We bill your insurance directly, and payment plans are available for larger treatment.
